Well folks, tonight is the night: the final GOP debate hosted by Fox News. I’m guessing we’re going to get a bunch more meaningless rhetoric from the likes of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. Newt will probably get a lot of personal attacks tonight as the other candidates try to bring him down from his recent surge in the polls.

Expecting some good points tonight from Ron Paul. That is, if Fox News actually gives him a fair amount of speaking time. This will be his last chance to really gather support before the elections. In order to do this, Paul will have to speak clearly (something with which he has struggled with previously), and boldly (which he always does well).

There’s no more hope for Perry, who is a poor debater. And Bachmann, Santorum, and Huntsman are lost causes anyways.
