I am pleased to report that new polls show that Rep. Ron Paul now leads in Iowa, with Gingrich and Romney close behind. The American Research Group poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers released today shows Ron Paul pulling ahead of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich for the first time. He’s leading with 21% support while the other two top candidates trail close behind Paul with 20% (Romney) and 19% (Gingrich).
However, national polls show that Paul is still far behind Romney and Gingrich with only 13% support, while the other two candidates are over 20%. But if Paul does well in Iowa, it will encourage people in other states to vote for him. Will you be voting for Ron Paul? I know I will be!

No, I will not be voting for Ron Paul. There’s a reason why males in their mid-20’s make up one of his supporters’ largest demographics. To the young, unwise and less-informed, his policies sound good only superficially. In reality, though, they’d do a lot more harm than good. Shit happens when you cut all that Ron Paul wants to cut. Sorry, but the economy isn’t so simple as these young adults would like to think.

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! And trust me, I’m awake! There is a reason why young people support Ron Paul; we are 15 TRILLION dollars in debt, and guess who has the burden of that debt? Us, the young people!
Ron Paul plans to cut $1 trillion dollars in his first year as president. That sounds scary to a lot of people, but it needs to be done. He plans to abolish the Transportation Security Administration and return responsibility for security to private property owners, abolishing corporate subsidies, stopping foreign aid, ending foreign wars, and returning most other spending to 2006 levels. The alternative (Obama, Romney) will be more spending and dumping of our money into government programs, a lot of which simply aren’t effective.
In response to your claims of Ron Paul being a “racist, homophobic, and anti-women”, could you please back that up? Yes, he is PERSONALLY pro-life, but is adamant that it is not his place to push his own personal views onto the country. Instead, he believes it should be up to the states whether or not to allow abortions. As for being racist and homophobic, there is no evidence supporting that claim. In fact, Ron Paul also is pro gay marriage and believes that matter should be left up to the states as well!
